What’s Youth Group like at a Cowboy Church?

This ain’t your grandma’s youth group….Everyone’s welcome…don’t worry bout the horse poo on your pants, the youth pastor usually has a little too!  You  never know what kind of crazy game we are going to play.  We know as Christians we are riding for the brand of Jesus, so we study and pray each week to try and make a better hand.

Youth Leader: Chester Russell

I am Chester Russell the youth leader at Triple Cross and I come from the small town of Fred Texas where I grew up in a ranching family. In high school I was active in FFA, football and baseball but what I liked best was being part of the school rodeo bulldogging team. After high school my brother and I formed the ROCKIN BAR S RODEO COMPANY which was a stock production rodeo company and at the same time I started to work in the oil fields.
 
Two years ago I was promoted and transferred to Granbury Texas where I live with my wife and two sons. As the youth leader here at Triple cross I understand that the most important thing that I have to do is to lead by example and earn the right to speak into a teenager's life. Sure we are going to have fun but we will also be continuing to grow spiritually into the image of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
