As a Bible teacher and church leader for decades, Ray brings an easy going humorous style of preaching that is focused on making the word of God practical and easy to understand where Jesus is the center and circumference of it all. Our Pastor, Ray Lane, came to us from the Leon River Cowboy Church, in Eastland, Texas. Ray grew up in Breckenridge and worked his way through college as a meat cutter and received his B.B.A. from Midwestern University. He served in Military Intelligence with the 1st Calvary Division in Viet Nam. Ray spent twenty five years in the tire industry where he founded and was chief executive officer of his own chain of truck tire and retread centers. A cattleman for most of his life raising registered black Simmental cattle on his ranch in Eastland County.
